Another small update again. I did some extra code clean-up (including CSS) and now i'm pretty satisfied with how the vast majority of it looks. It was such a mess of unnecessary tags and awkward workarounds before. :P
Reoptimised the logo animations on the welcome screen so the files are only roughly a third of what they were before.
Added a "Back to top" link at the bottom of this page
The site's visual presentation is getting close to what I wanted so I'm probably going to start adding some real content soon; probably first in the form of some old written movie reviews I did a few years ago.
Also, look at this apple GIF I found!

Just a small update this time. I redesigned the Links page to fit more links into less space using a pair of columns using <div> tags.
Also I added a bunch of hover text to several images around the site. A tiny update I know.

Made some minor optimisations to the code to tidy it up a bit so I can navigate it more effectivly.
Added some more links to the "LINKS" page with some icons to give the page some more colour and visual variety.
Decided to remove the animated text from the site for now. It was fun but lacked purpose and maybe looked a bit crude.
Created some more animated buttons for site navigation.
Reoptimised some of the image assets around the site to have a smaller file size. Not the most nesessary thing these days but the process of shaving off a few kilobytes from every image made me happy. :)

Okay, I think I fixed the mobile browser issue; turns out I just had to remove a single line of code from the page header. I also adjusted the 'style' tags so the site now uses Tahoma as a default font, which I think is easier on the eyes than Times New Roman.
Added a script to the Welcome page which randomly chooses between nine different logo animations. I may add more in the future; go ahead, click refresh a few times to see some different animated logos. You can now return to the Welcome page at any time by clicking on either of the two dragon logos at the top of the screen.
Removed one of the 'Under Construction' GIFs from the top of the page and moved the other below the page title to keep all page assets under 800px wide. I've decided to restrict myself to the old 800px wide format that was so common in the 90's and 2000's because I think that's fun.
Moved the "List of links" link to below the animated text near the top of the page to help with
visibility. I plan to add more pages eventually and their links will be positioned in the same place. I
might add a randomiser to the fiery text so it picks from a variety of different animated text images
everytime you load a page.
Changed the text size from 5 to 4 and the default text colour to "silver" (really just grey) and the horizontal dividers to yellow so it's less of a strain on the eyes.
Added a favicon to the browser tab.
Page content now scrolls seperate from the background.
Coming to the realisation I enjoy making assets for the website far more than building and bugfixing the website.

Hi! My name is TheREALBLUEdragon and this is my cool and very pointless website! There's not much here right now as I'm still trying to get my head around learning HTML and CSS (I hate CSS). I'll add things to this site occasionally as I learn more. Expect lots of links to random/useful websites, mini movie reviews, and some GIFs I make in my spare time to pass away the long hours of my pointless life until one day I will finally embrace oblivion. Lots of GIFs.
This website looks mostly fine on a real desktop browser but for some reason it doesn't look quite right when viewed on a phone or tablet browser. It's possible you have to do something very specific with the code to ensure it displays correctly on a handheld browser. It's quite annoying. I'll let you know if I ever fix it.
